Westmoreland-Oriskany Boys Varsity Soccer Coach Gil Palladino added another accomplishment to his long list of accolades as a high school soccer coach – his 400th win at the varsity level.
Palladino notched the milestone win with an 8-1 victory over his former team, the Clinton Warriors, in Clinton, on September 22.
Senior Jack Tamburino led the Westmoreland-Oriskany Boys Varsity Soccer team with a hat trick and three assists. Westmoreland-Oriskany goalkeeper, senior David Cronauer, made 10 saves – the goal against the Bulldogs was an own goal.
Palladino coached boys soccer at the Clinton Central School District from 1986-2014, with 22 of those years as head varsity coach. During his nearly three-decade stint at Clinton, he won 12 league titles and two sectional titles. Although he is still seeking his first sectional title with Westmoreland-Oriskany, his winning ways have continued.
Congratulations, Coach Palladino!
