Dear Upper Elementary Families:

We are about two months into the 2022-2023 school year, and our students have done a great job settling into routines and putting forth their best effort each day. At the Westmoreland Central School District, we pride ourselves as being a team and working together to provide the best education and emotional support for our students. Communication between home and school is important towards providing an effective instructional environment for our children. As we prepare for Parent-Teacher Conferences, we look forward to your insights regarding your child’s education and input about the school year. Our teachers truly appreciate the support that you give to your child in his/her education while at home.  Westmo logo

The Upper Elementary conferences will be held in-person on Friday, November 18, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Monday, November 21, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Please contact your child’s teacher if you need to find an alternative time due to scheduling conflicts.

Our 5th and 6th grade teachers will be in contact with any families they wish to set up a parent conference with on those days. If your family would like to schedule a conference with the 5th or 6th grade team, you may contact them separately to do so.

Please note that Friday, November 18, Monday, November 21 and Friday, December 2 are half days. Students will be dismissed with buses at 11:40 a.m. and pick-ups at 11:45 a.m. Paper copies of report cards will be distributed on Thursday, November 17 so you may view them prior to your child’s conference.

Please reach out to myself or your child’s teacher if you have any questions or concerns.

Best,

Trevor Haskell Upper Elementary School Principal
