In celebration of Veterans Day, the Primary Elementary School hosted a special program on November 9 to thank local veterans for their service.

The program, held in the school cafeteria and attended by students in grades PK-2, was organized by school librarian, Mrs. Livermore. Students led everyone in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, were given the opportunity to ask the veterans questions and sang “America the Beautiful.” As a token of appreciation, each veteran received a gift from a specific class.
