A HUGE shoutout to Ellie Niedl, Angelina Gattari, Scarlett Kelly and Eastyn Smith for being wonderful role models. They came together to help a friend! Mrs. Maine treated them to a pizza party for being good citizens, which is something we strive for here at Westmoreland! Great job ladies!

Our students are doing an excellent job with donations for the Country Pantry! There are boxes set up in all of our buildings, so don't forget to send your child to school with a non-perishable, healthy food item!

Come see our AMAZING Winterguard perform at the Upper Elementary School this Sunday! Doors will open at noon and the show begins at 12:30 p.m. They're also hosting a bottle and can drive so please bring your extra bottles and cans to help support them! Hope to see you there!


Today our school district wore mismatched socks and dressed in blue and yellow to raise awareness of Down syndrome! Individuals with this condition have an extra chromosome. About 1 in every 800 babies are born with Down syndrome.

Our high school students got a little taste of the real world today! Justin Firsching, a software engineer with Microsoft, spoke with our students. He detailed what he does in his career on a daily basis! We also asked our School Resource Officer, Deputy Keith Sack, to speak with our students interested in criminal justice about what he does everyday. Thank you Justin and Keith!







Happy #PiDay ! All of us here at WCSD encourage our students to explore math through our ZI3 program which focuses on STEAM! Our next ZI3 night is March 26 from 6-7:30 p.m. Enjoy some "pie" on this Pi day!
