
PRETTY IN PINK: On Friday, students and staff at the school district participated in a “wear pink” day to support Breast Cancer Awareness ahead of the the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Sunday. The "Westmoreland Teacher's Association" laced up their shoes and hit the track at the Mohawk Valley Community College Campus! This event raises money in the fight against breast cancer. Great job to all participants!

Look at our talented musicians at Industrial Rhythm at Whitesboro! They worked with professionals in the field and other student percussionists from Whitesboro and Sauquoit! Some even learned how to break dance! Good work!

SCIENCE OF READING: October 17 is the first community engagement session for the Science of Reading. This collaboration with Sauquoit Valley Central School District brings parents and students together to learn more about the importance of reading, not just at school, but at home too! TRAINING TO BE BETTER: While students are enjoying a day off, some of our teachers are in training! Thank you Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES for offering Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy (DIBELS) training with Dr. Gail Lovette! Our teachers are always looking for new and better ways to make sure our students are getting the best education!



On Wednesday, the Class of 2024 got up bright and early to watch the sunrise! They enjoyed the views with some pastries, hot chocolate, and coffee!
