Good Morning Little League Families! Welcome back returning players and hello to new faces! And for those that have aged out, my apologies for the email. Registration for the upcoming 2024 season will open on 1/1/2024 and will close on 2/15/2024. Prices will be $50 for T-Ball and $100 for Minors, Majors and Softball until 1/31/2024. Price for Minors, Majors and Softball after 1/31/2024 will be $125. There will be a $25 discount for each additional sibling. Any parent that is interested in coaching this year there will be a mandatory meeting on 1/31/2024 at the Stanwix Heights Men's Club that you must attend, the meeting will start at 7:15PM. Any T-Ball parent that is the Head Coach this year, 1 of children will play for free. We are also in need of a T-ball coordinator for the upcoming season. The Lego robotics qualifier at Mohawk Valley Community College is coming up on January 21st! We are inviting students on this trip to see what it's all about! If you would like your child to go, please reach out to Mr. Owens at towens@westmorelandschool.org no later than January 15th!
Our Media Productions class got a taste of what it's like to have a career in the broadcast industry! They took a trip to the WKTV studios! Kristen Copeland gave them a tour and taught them about producing and anchoring! They also watched Gary Liberatore and Eric Gage anchor the noon show! They even got a little shout out! CAPITAL PROJECT 2024: District leaders have done a tremendous amount of research in regards to this capital project. Earlier in the school year, board members attended a webinar to learn more about turf fields. We had a special tree lighting ceremony for our students in the Primary and Upper Elementary. Mrs. Maine and Mr. Haskell read a book to the kids. The Jr./Sr. High School select choir sang some Christmas carols! Santa and Mrs. Claus even stopped by to say hello!

TODAY IS THE DAY! Our second annual Christmas 🎄lighting is tonight at 6! You'll get to see 🎅🏼 and 🤶! There will also be basket raffles and a chance for students to do some Christmas shopping for their families! This tree lighting is extra special this year because all proceeds will be going to the Michelle M. Adey Foundation. Please join us in supporting a meaningful cause!
The Country Pantry will have a food distribution on Monday, December 11. Families in need can head to the Church of Annunciation in Clark Mills. Lineup begins at 8:30 a.m. and the distribution will be at 9:45 a.m.

Mrs. Haggerty's class and the Multiage class had a special visitor yesterday! Naudie, the mascot for the Utica Comets, paid our students a visit! Elementary aged students across the region participated in a Comets coloring contest. Kyler DelVecchio from Mrs. Haggerty's class placed third and Angelina Gattari from the Multiage class came in second! Naudie delivered pizza to both classes! Congrats Kyler and Angelina!
