Our students learned how to make soaps, ice cream and they even got to hang out with Dozer the therapy dog! The ZI3 Maker Camp invited Rebecca Hamm from Periwinkle Pig who worked with students on creating cement sculptures. Kelley Waskiewicz owns Cottonwood Handmade. Her business focuses on home made soaps. She taught kids how to make some of her specialty soaps. The students also spent some time at Bonomo's learning how to make ice cream and they experienced what it's like to own a food truck!

Look who we found at the Clinton Farmers Market! There's a section for youth farmers at the market and some of our students created some homemade items! They did a wonderful job!

Creating stories! This week long writing camp focuses on reading, improving writing skills and exercising the brain!
ZI3 AVIATION CAMP: Learning how drones work, flying planes and seeing what an actual aircraft looks like! Westmoreland partnered with Griffiss Institute to give our students real life experience when it comes to being a pilot! This camp is just "plane" awesome!

MATH MINI-CAMP: This camp is more than just sitting at a desk and solving math problems! You learn about chaos and game theory, fractiles, polars, and non-Euclidean geometry! Students also participated in the Darrah Challenge- a fast paced race around our campus solving puzzles and searching for clues!
The weather was perfect for the first day of Camp Adventure! Students played kickball, made jewelry and had fun on the playground at the Town Park! We have several different camps happening right now! Stay tuned for an exciting summer here at Westmoreland!
